Frequently asked questions:

To apply for a title loan with Panhandle Title, you will only need to gather a few documents to provide to our branch to complete your application. We generally ask for applicants to provide proof of ownership of the vehicle, proof of residency, proof of income, proof of identity and your vehicle for a quick inspection. Below, we will explain what documents we can typically except for each requested document type and why we request this from you as part of the application process.

Proof of Ownership of the Vehicle

The most common proof of ownership of the vehicle is the current valid title issued in your name. In some circumstances, we can instead use your registration if your title is currently held electronically within your state but if your title is currently a printed title, we would be unable to proceed with the title loan on your vehicle without the current issued title. If you are unsure if your title is electronically held or a physical paper title, please feel free to call our office at (850) 785-2274 and have either your title or VIN number available for our staff to check and let you know what the current status of your title is and what documentation you will need to provide proof of ownership of your vehicle.

Proof of Residency

When you apply for a title pawn with Panhandle Title, we won’t pull your credit to qualify you so instead of a traditional credit check, we will use your bill to provide proof of residency. We do require that your proof of residency for your title loan application be some type of service bill, or a bank statement and it has to be a current bill, issued within the last 30 days. Most customers are able to provide us with a power, water, gas, internet, phone, cable, or satellite bill. Please note that if your bills are sent to PO Box, this will not be able to be accepted unless the service bill has a mailing address and your current service address listed on the bill. If you are unable to provide one of these types of preferred proof of residency options but have a current and unexpired lease agreement, we would be able to accept this as well. You do not have to have a paper copy of the bill and if you have an online account established through your provider, you can always download the recent bill and email it to our branch at [email protected] and we will use the electronic copy of your bill for your title loan application. If you are unable to provide one of the preferred proofs of residency documents listed, please call our office at (850) 785-2274 to discuss any alternative proof of residency documents you may be able to provide for your application.

Proof of Income

Although we don’t need proof of income to approve your title loan application, providing proof of income will maximize your approval amount on your title loan application with Panhandle Title. For proof of income, we can accept all types of income verification. You can provide your paycheck stub, bank statement showing either regular deposits or direct deposit, 1099 or a statement from your employer to verify your income. In order for us to accept a statement from your employer for proof of income, we do require that the statement be printed on company letter head and provide your net monthly income and your net year to date income, along with your date of hire. Please note that if a letter is provided, we will have to validate the letter with your employer. Providing your proof of income with your bank statement can bonus as both proof of income and proof of residency!

Proof of Identity

For proof of identity, you will need to bring in your current, non-expired state issued ID card or Driver’s License. In the event that your title is registered under a previous name (typically either a maiden name or former name from a previous marriage) you will need to also bring in your marriage license or divorce decree in order for our office to be able to process your title pawn application.

Vehicle

The last and final piece of your title pawn application is your vehicle. One of our representatives will complete a quick 5-minute inspection of your vehicle so that we can gather pertinent information required to pull the value of the vehicle to determine your maximum title loan approval amount based upon the current mileage and the condition of your vehicle. We do require that your vehicle be running and driven to our office for this purpose.

A title loan is not like a traditional loan with a strict repayment schedule; a title loan is actually a title pawn in the state of Alabama, which is where our Panhandle Title branch is located. The cost of borrowing on a title pawn completely depends on how long your account remains active and how much you pay towards the pawn every 30-days when the payments are due.

Title pawns are meant to be short-term transactions that grant you easy access to cash you need for any reason. There are no upfront fees that are due at the time of your application. Your payment will be due 30-days after you receive your check. Customers have three options upon their first due date. The least expensive option is to pay your account back in full within the first 30-days. At Panhandle Title, we do have an exclusive option for first time borrowers that could allow your title pawn to qualify for our 30-days interest free promotion! If you received a 30-day interest free promotion at the time of opening your account with Panhandle Title and pay your account in full within the first 30-days, you will not pay any interest if you pay your account out in full! This promotion does extend through the life of your pawn, as long as the conditions for this promotion are met, we will waive the last 30-days’ worth of interest when you are able to pay your account out in full! To learn more about the qualifications of this special promotion, visit our disclaimer page here or call our friendly staff at (850) 785-2274!

The second option you have on your due date is to pay your minimum payment to extend your title pawn for an additional 30-days. Paying the minimum payment will just cover the accrued interest on your account for the additional 30-days. Choosing this option will likely be the most expensive option, depending up the following payments that you make on your title pawn as you are only covering the accrued interest and not actually reducing the balance of your account. We always recommend that customers pay more then just their minimum payment when they can to reduce the principal balance and additional interest that the account is charged for the consecutive 30-day periods that your account remains active.

The third option that you have on your due date is to pay more then the minimum payment on your account. Any amount that you pay over the interest will be applied to the principal balance and in return, reduce the amount of interest that you owe on your consecutive payments. When you open your account with Panhandle Title, our staff can help you with a suggested payment schedule for your title pawn that would show you an amortization of your suggested repayment on your title pawn with your requested payment amounts and time frame to come up with a repayment on your title pawn that allows you to fit your title pawn repayment into your budget and schedule! Although any amortization repayment plan, we offer is not required, at Panhandle Title, we want to help you understand the repayment options that you have on your title pawn if you are worried about not being able to pay it back within the first 30-days or falling into the only paying the interest payments.

Essentially, unless you receive our 30-day interest free promotion, the cost of borrowing with a title pawn has a 25% monthly compounding interest rate, which is essentially a $25 finance fee for every $100 borrowed, every 30-days. Below is a table of what you can expect to pay with a title pawn with or without our 30-day interest free promotion.

Title pawns are meant to be short term 30-day transactions but are not required to be paid back within the first 30-days. In order for your account to remain in good standing and not be considered in default, payments of at least the minimum payment are required to be made every 30-days. Failure to make at least your minimum payment of the interest every 30-day period could result in the repossession of your vehicle.

Like any other interest baring loan, a title pawn will cost you more the longer that your account remains in an active status so although you do not have to pay back your title pawn in 30-days, you will end up paying more in interest on your title pawn the longer that the account remains in active status. Only paying your minimum payment every 30-days is just covering the interest on the title pawn and not reducing the amount of money that you owe to pay off your title pawn at a future date. At Panhandle Title, we always recommend paying more than your minimum payment every 30-days. The amount that is paid over the minimum payment will be applied to reduce the principal balance of your title pawn and in return, reduce the amount of interest that will be owed for the following 30-day period.

When you open your account with Panhandle Title, our staff can help you to come back with a recommend repayment schedule of your title pawn that will amortize the repayment of your title pawn for a set number of payments that you may feel may be more ideal. Although the amortization payments on your title pawn is not required, we can help you determine what you will need to pay on your title pawn each month to pay back the title pawn within the ideal length of time that you would like to pay back your title pawn.

At Panhandle Title, we have an exclusive promotion available to first time borrowers that you could qualify for a 30-days interest free title pawn! The great thing about our 30-day interest free promotion is that the promotion lasts the life of your title pawn, as long as you follow the terms and conditions of the promotion! This allows for the 30-days’ worth of interest to be forgiven on your final payment to Panhandle Title, so you do not have to pay your account out in full within the first 30-days to take advantage of this promotion! To learn more about our 30-days interest free promotion requirements, please read more about the promotion here or call our friendly staff at (850) 785-2274! We look forward to assisting you!

At Panhandle Title, we can accept both Florida and Alabama titles for your title pawn since we are able to service both residents of the state of Alabama as well as residents of the state of Florida. We unfortunately are not able to service the entire state of Florida, but our Panhandle Title branch is one of the leading auto title loan or auto title pawn providers for the surrounding Florida and Alabama counties. We do require that your title be free and clear of any existing liens and be issued and registered in your name in order for the title to be used for your title pawn application.

Even if you title is currently an electronic title issued by your state, we can validate this through the state of issue and complete your title pawn application without you having to visit your local tax collector to get the physical copy of your title which will result in you having to pay additional fees to receive your physical title. Electronic or e-titles have been in place for Florida residents since 2013, unless a paper copy of the title is requested by the title holder. If you title is currently an e-title, call our friendly staff at (850) 785-2274 with your title or VIN number (both can be found on your registration) and we can validate the current title is still electronically held through your state prior to your arrival at our branch. When you apply for your title pawn with Panhandle Title, instead of your physical title, we will require to provide proof of ownership of your vehicle instead, which is commonly supplied by customers as their current registration.

If you still have questions about physical title or e-titles or any other questions, our friendly and knowledgeable Panhandle staff can help you get the answers you are looking for! Just give us a call now at (850) 785-2274! We look forward to assisting you!

Title pawns are meant to be 30-day, short term transactions but they do not have to be repaid within the first 30-days. Paying your title pawn back within the first 30-days would be the least expensive cost of borrowing for your title pawn.

When you receive your title pawn from Panhandle Title, your first payment will be due 30-days from the date that you receive your check for your title pawn. When your due date is here, you will be required to pay at least the minimum payment of the interest accrued to extend your title pawn for an additional 30-day period. Paying the minimum payment will only pay the interest accrued on your title pawn and will not reduce the total amount owed to pay your account in full, it will just extend the title pawn for an additional 30-day period.

Every 30-days, when your payment is due, you essentially have 3 options to keep your account in good standing. Failure to make at least your minimum payment every 30-days, on your due date, could result in the repossession of your vehicle, based upon your contract with Panhandle Title.

Option 1: Pay your title pawn in full within the first 30-days

When your payment is due, the long-term, least expensive option that you have is to pay your account in full. If you qualified and received our 30-days interest free promotion when you opened your title pawn with Panhandle Title, we will waive the accrued interest on your title pawn, and you pay your account in full for the principal balance plus lien fee charged by your state to secure the lien on your title and no interest will be charged. If you do not have the 30-day interest free promotion on your title pawn, you will pay your principal balance and the accrued interest on your title pawn to pay your account in full. Your lien will be released, and the title will remain electronically held in your state, if your title was liened.

Option 2: Pay your minimum payment to extend your title pawn for an additional 30-day period

When your payment is due, you can pay your minimum payment of your title pawn to extend your title pawn transaction for an additional 30-day period. Only paying the minimum payment on your title pawn will only cover the accrued interest on your title pawn to extend it for another 30-day period and your payoff on your title pawn will remain the same as only paying the minimum payment does not reduce the amount that you owe to pay your title pawn in full.

Option 3: Pay more than your minimum payment to reduce the balance and extend your title pawn for an additional 30-day period

Paying more than your minimum payment will allow the additional amount paid over the minimum payment to reduce the outstanding principal balance on your title pawn and in return, reduce the amount of interest and the payoff of your title pawn for the following 30-day period. We always recommend that customers that are unable to pay off their title pawn within the first 30-days, pay more than their minimum payment to reduce the interest accrued on their account for the consecutive 30-day periods as well as the amount that is owed to pay their account in full.

With Panhandle Title, it is always up to the customer on how they pay back their title pawn, keeping in mind that failure to pay at least the minimum payment every 30-days could result in the repossession of the collateral for your title pawn with Panhandle Title. As long as you are making at least your minimum payment every 30-day period, your account will remain in active, good standing.

Call our friendly staff at (850) 785-2274 for any additional questions that you may have regarding a title pawn with Panhandle Title! We look forward to assisting you!

Ultimately, the cost of borrowing on your title pawn with Panhandle Title will be dependent upon how long you take to pay back the title pawn. Title pawns are meant to be short-term, 30-day transactions in which you pay a finance fee depending upon the amount of money that you borrow. If you find you are unable to pay back the title pawn within the first 30-days, you can pay the minimum payment, which is the interest accrued on the title pawn to extend your title pawn for an additional 30-day period. You can keep paying at least the minimum payment every 30-days, as long as you need, to keep the account active but just keep in mind that the longer you take to pay off your title pawn, the more that the total cost of borrowing on your title pawn will be since the interest is accrued for each 30-day period.

The finance fee of title pawns is based upon a 25% finance fee that compounds every 30-day period that your account is open, so you are essentially paying $25 for every $100 borrowed or outstanding every 30-day period. Whatever you are able to pay over the minimum payment will reduce the outstanding principal balance on your title pawn and in return, will reduce the amount of interest that you owe for the consecutive 30-day periods.

At Panhandle Title, we do have an exclusive promotion available to first-time customers that allows your title pawn to potentially qualify for a 30-day interest free promotion. This promotion, if you qualify, is valid for the life of your title pawn so you do not have to pay the title pawn back in full within the first 30-days in order to take advantage of the promotion! To learn more about Panhandle Title’s exclusive 30-day interest free promotion and the qualifications you would need to meet to be eligible, learn more here!

We look forward to assisting you at Panhandle Title! Please call our staff directly at (850) 785-2274 for any additional questions that you may have!

Title loans, more commonly referred to as a title pawn, with Panhandle Title are not required to be paid back within the first 30-days. A title pawn is meant to be a short-term, 30-day transaction but you are not required to pay the title pawn within the first 30-days. If you are able to pay back within the first 30-days, your total cost of borrowing will be less than what your total cost of borrowing would be if your account remained active for additional 30-day periods, which is expected with any loan or pawn that you would receive.

If you find that you are unable to payback your title pawn within the first 30-days, you do need to ensure that you are paying at least your minimum payment every 30-days to keep your account in active, good standing with Panhandle Title. You are always able to pay more than your minimum payment to reduce the amount your outstanding principal balance as well as your total balance owed to pay your title pawn in full.

If you find that you are able to payback your title pawn within the first 30-days, at Panhandle Title, we do offer an exclusive first-time borrower promotion for a 30-day interest free promotion! What is great about our promotion is that it is valid for the life of your title pawn, as long as the promotion requirements and terms and conditions of the promotion are met by the borrower. If your title pawn is a 30-day interest free promotion, when you payout your account within the first 30-days, you will simply payback your principal balance and lien fee and your account is paid in full. If you are unable to pay off within the first 30-days, you will be required to make at least your minimum payment on or before each due date to keep the promotion active and when you are able to pay your account in full, Panhandle Title will waive up to 30-days’ worth of the current interest on your outstanding principal upon pay off. Keep in mind that not all new customers will always qualify for this promotion. To review the qualifications needed to qualify for Panhandle Title’s 30-day interest free promotion, visit our disclaimer page here for the list of qualifications.

Call us at (850) 785-2274 to get pre-approved over the phone or you can even start the approval process on our website and receive an instant quote for your title pawn with Panhandle Title! We look forward to assisting you!

Another great aspect of a title pawn is that there is absolutely no credit check as part of the approval process for your title pawn application so your credit will never play a factor if you qualify for a title pawn! With Panhandle Title, you are more than a credit score and we will use the equity that you hold in your free and clear vehicle as the collateral for your title pawn with our company.

Since we do not run a credit check on any of our title pawn applicants, we do have specific documents that you will need to provide as part of the application process. Typically, the documentation requirements are as follows:

  1. Proof of ownership of the vehicle. Proof of ownership is required to be your physical title, unless you have an electronic title, or e-title. If your title is electronically held through your state, you can provide your registration as proof of ownership of your vehicle. When we begin to process your application, we will be able to confirm that your title is currently electronically held. In the event that the title is a physical title and not an electronic title, you will be required to either provide the current physical title or visit your local tax collector office to obtain a new title to be used in your title pawn application. The Panhandle Title branch will keep your title and secure a lien against your vehicle and the lien will be released when your account is paid in full.
  2. Proof or residency. Proof of residency is typically provided as some type of reoccurring utility or service bill for your residence, issued in your name. Applicants usually provide a power, water, phone, internet, television, or gas bill in their name as proof of residency. We can also accept a bank statement as proof of residency. For all proof of residency documents to be accepted, you must provide your complete and most recent statement, issued within the last 30-days. If your mailing address is a po box or non-residential address, we will require a service bill with the service address for your residency to be included on the bill which typically is the case with all utility bills.
  3. Proof of income. We do have programs that allow us to offer a variety of title pawns without proof of income but providing proof of your monthly income can help you to qualify for more than what we would be able to approve your title pawn application without proof of income. If you receive direct deposit or deposit your income into your bank account, you can provide your bank statement as both proof of income and proof of residency. A paycheck stub will also work as proof of residency. If you do not receive direct deposit or deposit your income to your bank and do not receive a paycheck stub, we can sometimes accept a letter on your company’s letterhead with specific information as proof of income. Award letters for retirement, social security income and other forms of income can also be accepted as proof of income.
  4. Proof of identity. Most of our title pawn applicants already have their driver’s license or identification card already on them, but these are acceptable forms of proof of identity, as long as the license or ID is current, not expired, and valid.
  5. Your vehicle. We do require that your vehicle be driven to our branch for the application process. One of our representatives will complete a quick inspection of the vehicle and gather pertinent information regarding the vehicle’s features so that we can pull the current value of your vehicle to determine along with your income, how much we can offer you for your title pawn. You do not have to accept the maximum amount that we can offer based upon your vehicle and your income, the amount of your title pawn is up to you and how much you would like to receive, provided your vehicle and income can support the amount that you are requesting for your title pawn with Panhandle Title.

With no credit check and easy requirements, we make it easy for customers to receive an approval on their title pawn application at Panhandle Title! Call our friendly and helpful staff at (850) 785-2274 to get an instant over the phone quote so you know what you can expect to potentially receive for your title pawn application with Panhandle Title today! We look forward to assisting you!

Yes! At Panhandle Title, you always keep your car, we keep your title! Receiving a title pawn will not require you to leave your vehicle until the account is paid in full so you will have full use of your car throughout the duration that your title pawn remains active, provided you are making at least your minimum payment every 30-days to keep your account in good standing.

Since title loans are essentially title pawns, one of the biggest misconceptions is that in order to pawn your title, you will lose the use of your vehicle, but title pawns do not work like a traditional pawn, or a pawnshop would because with a vehicle, you have a title that our company can secure a lien against to protect our interest in your vehicle, just like a bank would, until your title pawn has been paid in full. Part of the title pawn process after you receive your title pawn, our branch will send the necessary paperwork along with your current title to secure the lien on your title through your state. Once you have paid your title pawn back in full, our branch will release the lien on your vehicle and your title will either remain electronic through your state or a physical copy can be sent to you directly from the state, if you request a physical title.

At Panhandle Title, we understand how important our vehicles are for everyday life and that is why we make sure to make easy access to equity you may have in your vehicle is available to you without the inconvenience of having to rearrange your life by having to lose the use of your vehicle with a title pawn. Although you are required to bring your vehicle to our branch for a quick inspection, we will not require you to keep the vehicle at our branch and you will be able to leave with your vehicle and your check for your title pawn today!

What are you waiting for? Get the money you need today and keep the use of your vehicle! Call us today for additional information! (850) 785-2274

No way! Unlike other title pawn lenders, at Panhandle Title, we will never require you to bring a spare key or have a new key made for your title pawn to be approved. These days, keys are expensive, and we try to make the title pawn process as easy as we can. We understand that you may not have the additional money to get an additional key made just to receive a title pawn and you may need the keys that you already have for everyday use, that is why we never require a key for your title pawn application with Panhandle Title!

In fact, to get a title pawn with Panhandle Title, you will need very little documents as part of the application process and one of those requirements will never be a spare or extra key to your vehicle. To apply for a title pawn, you will need to provide proof of ownership of the vehicle (title or registration if your title is held electronically through your state), proof of residency (recent, issued within the last 30-days utility or service bill in your name and at your current residency), proof income (your most recent bank statement or paycheck stub), proof of identity (current, not expired state issued driver’s license or identification card) and your vehicle!

At Panhandle Title, we strive to make the title pawn application process easy and stress free! Call our friendly staff at (850) 785-2274 if you have any additional questions about the title pawn application process! We look forward to assisting you!

Absolutely! We can approve title pawn applications on all year, make and model personal use vehicles and the condition of your vehicle will not result in the denial of your title pawn application! The condition of your vehicle will play a factor in the amount of the amount that we can approve your application for but will not automatically result in a denial.

When you come in to apply for your title pawn, one of our representatives will conduct a quick overall inspection of your vehicle to gather pertinent information regarding your specific vehicle including overall condition of your vehicle, the current mileage and condition of your vehicle. You must drive your vehicle to our office in order to complete your title pawn application so only if the damage or condition of your vehicle prevents you from driving it to our location would be the only reason, we would be unable to proceed and approve your title pawn application!

Vehicles are used all the time in day to day life so normal wear and tear is expected of your vehicle and sometimes we see vehicles of all conditions with the title pawn application process but as long as your vehicle is currently registered and operational for you to drive it to our location in Cottonwood, Alabama, we will be able to get you as much as we can based upon your vehicle’s current value and your ability to repay the title pawn that you would receive. Skip the trip to the car wash or detailing prior to receiving your title pawn, we are not going to be overly picky about the current condition of your vehicle when you apply for a title pawn with Panhandle Title!

Apply on our website today to find out what you can expect to potentially receive on your title pawn application with Panhandle Title or call our friendly staff at (850) 785-2274 to get a ballpark quote today! We look forward to assisting you today!

At Panhandle Title, despite the current mileage of your vehicle, we say YES! As long as your vehicle is currently in working order, registered and able to be driven to our location, we will be able to proceed with your title pawn, regardless of the current mileage of your vehicle. Keep in mind that with vehicles, the more miles that the vehicle has, there is more of a depreciation of the value of the vehicle so it could potentially reduce the amount that we are able to approve for your vehicle then the same vehicle that has low mileage because the current odometer reading of your vehicle can either add or deduct the current value of your vehicle.

If you have had your engine replaced, we will have to use the current odometer reading on your vehicle when determining the current mileage for the purpose of determining how much of a title pawn we will be able to offer you. We cannot use the paperwork and documentation you have since getting the engine replaced and have to use the current odometer reading of your vehicle when determining the current mileage of your vehicle.

We have even had applicants come to our company and receive a title pawn on their vehicle with a broken odometer where we are unable to verify the current mileage of the vehicle. When the odometer is broken on your vehicle, we will have to factor this in when determining the current value of your vehicle and how much we can offer so just like having a vehicle with high miles, we will typically be able to approve your title pawn application on your broken odometer vehicle, but you would qualify for less than someone else would with the same vehicle but low miles for the age and year of your vehicle.

As long as your vehicle is running order and you meet all of our other requirements for your title pawn application, we can get your application approved to get some extra money in your pockets today! Call our friendly staff at (850) 785-2274 today for a list of additional requirements needed to get your title pawn application approved with Panhandle Title!

For proof of residency, we always require that the proof of residency document is a current, within the last 30-days document and in your name in order for us to accept it as proof of residency. There are various forms of utility or service statements that can be provided. Sometimes, applicants will have a mailing address that is different from their physical address and a utility or service bill will provide proof of residency of applicants because both the mailing and physical address will be listed on the bill. Some examples of utility bills that applicants provide, and we can accept are their gas bill, power bill, water bill, internet bill, television bill, or telephone bill. If your bank statement has your current physical address listed on it, we can also accept your bank statement as proof of residency. If you own your house, you can provide your current mortgage statement for proof of residency as well. If you are renting, you can provide either your current rent statement or bill or a current and non-expired lease. In order for us to accept your lease as your proof of residency, the lease cannot be expired and, on a month-to-month extension of the agreement.

In this day and age, at Panhandle Title, we understand that paper bills and statements are usually kept electronically and to save on costs many service providers offer discounts and waiver of fees if you sign up for their paperless statements and we can accept your electronic version of these documents instead of a paper copy. Save yourself the headache of trying to print these electronic copies, you can email the electronic version of your proof of residency before or during your title pawn application process by downloading the current version of your bill or statement and emailing it to our staff at [email protected], our staff can print the document for your application for you!

If you are unable to provide one of the above listed documents as proof of income and want to inquire if we can accept an alternative document for proof of residency for your title pawn application with Panhandle Title, call our friendly and knowledgeable staff at (850) 785-2274 to discuss potential alternative proof of residency documentation that you could potentially provide! We look forward to assisting you!

At Panhandle Title, we have experienced a variety of different scenarios with different applicants when it comes to proof of income. Traditionally, applicants will use a paycheck stub or a bank statement showing their direct deposit of their proof of income, and this is probably the most common proof of income that we see but we also have customers and applicants that are self-employed and have provided their proof of income from their business in which they are the owner/operator of. Depending upon your situation will determine what we will need to see in order to verify your income. Below are some different scenarios that may fit your current source of income and what we can accept to verify it for your title loan application

Regular Employment

The most common proof of income for applicants would be your most recent paycheck stub. Although we do only require the most recently issued paycheck stub, if for some reason your recent paycheck stub was less than you normally receive due to lack of hours worked for personal reasons, we can look at that paycheck stub along with previous full paycheck stubs and your year-to-date net pay to get a complete picture of your typical bring home monthly income. Your most recent paycheck stub can also be provided and used for proof of income if you receive direct deposit or are regularly depositing your paycheck into your bank account. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a transfer from one account to another as proof of income, so if your income is deposited into a specific account and then transferred into another account, you would need to bring in your most recent bank statement for the account that is receiving the majority of your income directly into it.

Retired or Social Security Benefits

A recent statement of your retirement or social security benefit award letter can also be accepted as proof of income or your most recent bank statement showing the deposits can also be accepted as proof of income when you are retired and/or receiving social security income.

Self Employed

Self-employed applicants can provide their most recent bank statement for their business account along with proof of ownership of the business, showing that they are sole owner/operator of the business can also be accepted. For self-employed business owners, we will always need their proof of ownership as the sole owner/operator in order to be able to accept any verification of self-employment income. We can also accept invoices and receipts given to your customers or credit/debit card statements from your processors to determine the amount of cash flow that your business is regularly receiving. In some circumstances, we may request more than just one month worth of income to determine your typical monthly income.

Investment Property Income

If you own additional properties that you rent or lease out to parties for income, we can review the current lease agreements that you have with your tenants to consider this source as additional or primary income sources for your title pawn application. In addition to the lease agreement, you can provide your bank statement showing your rental property income or copies of your receipts provided to the tenants of your rental properties as proof of income.

Although proof of income is not required for your title pawn application with Panhandle Title, providing proof of your income can help maximize your approval amount! If you have an alternative proof of income that is not listed above and want to discuss with our staff on if we can accept it, please call our staff directly at (850) 785-2274! We look forward to assisting you!

In order for a cosigner to be on your title pawn with Panhandle Title, the cosigner will be required to be a registered co-owner of your vehicle. If your cosigner is not currently listed as the co-owner of your vehicle, you can visit your local tax collector’s office to have them added as a registered co-owner on the vehicle. Upon the completion of this step, you can ask the tax collector to print a fast title if you prefer a paper copy of your title or ask them to keep the title electronically held through your state to not delay the ability of processing your title pawn application by waiting for the physical copy of your title to come in the mail from the state.

If your title already has an additional co-owner listed on the title, there are some circumstances that allow us to process your title pawn application with or without the co-owner, it all depends on how the names and the ownership is connected. If on your title or registration, your name and your co-owner’s name are joined by “and”, both owners will need to be present and apply for your title pawn application. If on your title or registration, your name and your co-owner’s name are joined by “or”, either of the owners can apply individually for a title pawn. If on your title or registration, your name and your co-owner’s name are joined by without “and” or “or”, both owners will need to be present and apply for your title pawn application as “and” is assumed.

Cosigners are beneficial on title pawn applications in situations where you are unable to provide proof of residency if all of the bills are in your partner’s or spouse’s name or in the event that you can utilize the household income to maximize the amount of your title pawn approval with Panhandle Title, but cosigners are not always required. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept a cosigner on your title pawn application, unless they are one of the legal owners of the vehicle.

Absolutely! In order to qualify for a title pawn with Panhandle Title, we are able to proceed and process your title pawn application when your title is electronically held through either the state of Alabama or the state of Florida! When your title is electronically held, we would need your current registration on the vehicle to prove the ownership of your vehicle and we can confirm with your state online that the title is currently an electronic title and process the necessary paperwork to secure the lien on the electronic title until your account is paid in full. Some of the other title loan companies require you to make a trip to your local tax collector’s office to pay the additional fees to obtain the physical title but this step is not necessary because an electronic copy of a title can be processed just the same as a physical copy of a title. Save yourself some time, money and the hassle of this unnecessary trip and get your electronic title pawn with Panhandle Title today!

If you are doubtful if your title is currently electronically held through your state, you can call our Panhandle Title staff at (850) 785-2274 and we can research it for you over the phone! You would need to have your VIN or title number ready for our staff to look it up online and let you know if your title is electronic or a physical copy. Both your title and VIN numbers are found on your registration!

When you apply for a title pawn with Panhandle Title, we do require that you drive your vehicle to our branch for a quick inspection. Because of this and the laws in both the state of Alabama and the state of Florida, we do require that your vehicle currently be registered and insured in order to qualify for a title pawn with Panhandle Title. We are unable to process and approve applications on vehicles that may be towed or hauled to our location due to being inoperable or because they are not properly registered to be considered street legal.

When you drive your vehicle to our branch to apply for a title pawn, your vehicle inspection along with the required documents to complete your application are the most important parts of the process. When we inspect your vehicle, we are going to be reviewing the exterior and interior and gathering the features and other pertinent information that will help our representatives pull the current value of your vehicle and factor that along with your ability to repay the pawn to our company to determine just how much of a title pawn we can get your application approved for. When you travel to our branch, be sure to bring all of the required information to have your title pawn application approved. There are only a few requirements that we will need to from you! They are:

Although we do not require proof of insurance as part of your title loan application process, since we require that you drive your vehicle to our office, and it is required to have insurance on your vehicle to operate that vehicle in the state of Alabama and the state of Florida, we do require that your vehicle be insured when you apply for a title pawn application and throughout the duration of your account being open with Panhandle Title.

At Panhandle Title, there are no minimum requirements for the vehicle to be covered or full coverage restrictions and our company will not sell you or require purchasing required insurance premiums as part of the title pawn process. Some companies will use these insurance premiums as a way to offer a lower interest rate on your title pawn but once you add on the additional coverage from the insurance products that they sell, you actually will end up paying more than you would with a traditional title pawn product! These hidden fees and additional expenses are quite costly and not necessary in order to get you access to the cash you need today, at Panhandle Title there are never hidden fees or unnecessary expenses that you will receive with a title pawn from us today!

Panhandle Title looks forward to assisting you today! Call our staff at (850) 785-2274 with any questions you may have about a title loan application with us today!

Yes, at Panhandle Title, we can complete a title pawn when there are two owners of the vehicle that you are looking to get a title pawn on. Depending upon the ownership type of the dual owners of the vehicle, will determine if both owners will be required to be part of the title pawn application process. Owners of their vehicles with their names joined by “and” will both required to be present and be on the title pawn application since both parties are required to make any changes to the vehicle through the state. Owners of their vehicles with their names joined by “or”, are not both required to be present and be on the title pawn application since either party can make any changes to the vehicle through the state. In some cases, both owners may not show a conjoining “and” or “or” on their title work for their vehicle, and if this is the case with your dually owned vehicle, “and” is assumed and both owners will be required to be present and be on the title pawn application since both parties are required to make any changes to the vehicle through the state.

Having a co-signer on your title pawn application could potentially help you with qualifying for a larger dollar title pawn if both applicants have proof of income that can provided as part of the application process. At Panhandle Title, we determine the amount of your title pawn qualification based upon the condition and the value of the vehicle along with your ability to repay the pawn transaction so the more money that you can you provide our staff with for proof of your net monthly household income, the more you could potentially receive as a title pawn today!

Unfortunately, we can only allow a co-signer on your title pawn application if both of the applicants are registered owners of the vehicle through the state. You can make any change to your vehicle ownership through your state at any time which includes adding a registered owner of your vehicle as well as removing a registered owner of your vehicle.

Want an instant quote? Apply online or call our friendly staff at (850) 785-2274 today! We look forward to assisting you with your fast cash title pawn approval today!

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer secondary lien title pawns at our Panhandle Title branch and we do require that your vehicle is free and clear of any and all previous lien holders in order to qualify for a title pawn. Once you have satisfied your original or current financing, the staff at Panhandle Title can immediately process your title pawn application, as long as your previous lien was properly released either electronically or physically on your physical title.

If you have a physical title in which a lienholder was previously listed on the title, but the lienholder has since signed off, you do not need to take your title to the tax collector to have the previous lienholder removed from the title. The sign off on the physical title from your previous lienholder will releasee their interest in your vehicle and not prevent our company from obtaining a lien on your vehicle through the state. If you have misplaced your physical title with the previous lienholder’s lien release, you would need to contact your previous lienholder and request a lien release form through the state to be sent to you and you would have to take the physical copy of the lien release to the tax collector to have their lien released and a replacement title issued for your vehicle to be recorded a free and clear. The lien may have also already been released in the state’s system in order for a replacement title to be issued without contacting the previous lienholder for a lien release.

Call our Panhandle Title staff at (850) 785-2274 for more information about determining if your previous lien has been released in the state’s system! Our representatives would just need your title or VIN number (both can be found on your current registration) to look up this information for you!
